Report based on interrogation of Germany's top rocket scientists at Peenemunde. In the crucial weeks at the end of May and the beginning of June, 1945, when the US Army Ordnance Technical Intelligence in Europe undertook to round up as many of the top Peenemunde rocket scientists as they possibly could before the Russians moved into the territory still under US army occupation, General Eisenhower cabled to the Chief of Ordnance, "Have in custody over 400 top research development personnel of Peenemunde... The thinking of the scientific directors of this group is 25 years ahead of US..."
